When renting a car in Okinawa, it is necessary to present the original driver's license of the driver's nationality, a Japanese translation of the license, and a passport. All three documents are required, so please ensure you have them before departure. Please note that the Japanese translation of the driver's license cannot be obtained in Japan on the same day.
